Prior to co-founding we4 Impact in January 2019, Laila has spent more than 15 years in the reinsurance and insurance industry. Since 2003, Laila has held various expert and management roles across life & health and non-life lines with Frankona Re, Swiss Re, Ergo and Munich Re. Together with her team, Laila has spent the last years at Munich Re with developing new, digitized Life & Health solutions for and with her clients, especially in the area of living benefits and underwriting automation. We4 Impact is supporting their clients in the life & health insurance industry and start-up scene in re-designing and digitizing (medical) risk selection, underwriting and claims processes with special focus on integrating new medical findings and regulations such as e.g. genetics. At the same time, we 4 Impact is driving the overarching cultural and organizational transformation process that is inseparable from the twisting and tweaking of these processes. Laila is a trained economist, holding a master’s degree in business research and a doctoral degree in insurance economics. Additionally, Laila is a change agent in organizational development processes and trainer in self-experience based personal – and team development.
